7 Unbelievable Play Houses That You'll Want to Live in ...

I have seen some AMAZING playhouses this week. There is something about the summer that reminds you of being a child, and makes you long for those days when your playhouse changed from being a castle to Batman’s cave to a secret ninja base within hours. I thought I’d check some out, and look at these amazing playhouses – they really are mind-blowing!

1. Little Cottage…

Little Cottage… Okay, so this isn’t one of the most amazing playhouses, but it’s still one that I’d love. A shed converted into a little cottage would have been the perfect scene for acting out Disney stories or fairy tales, and I love the idea of naming your cottage. That little bird house is adorable, too!

2. The Adventure House…

The Adventure House… This is probably more adventure playground than playhouse, but it’d be sure to keep any child busy for hours. Just check out those ladders, balconies and windows! It’s big enough to fit a few friends in, and it’s made from things you can find at any good DIY store. I’d love one of these, even now!

3. Castle…

Castle… Little princesses will totally love this amazing pink castle. From the tall door to the pink curtains, flowers and cute little rooms, it’s a great place to do everything from drawing and painting to playing with dolls and waiting for a prince (or dragon!) to come.

4. Little House…

Little House… This big playhouse looks just like a cozy home, and it can even be hooked up to the electric to have lights and gadgets! Not only is it a totally amazing playroom, with plenty of space for playing and games, but it’d make a really cool home office, too. Hint hint! I love the pastel yellow and blue color scheme, the welcoming door mat and the thatched roof…I can actually imagine living in something this cute.

This Little House is the perfect playhouse for children who want to feel like they are living in a real home. It has a thatched roof, a welcoming door mat, a pastel yellow and blue color scheme, and can even be hooked up to electricity with lights and gadgets. The playhouse is spacious enough for children to play and have fun, while also providing plenty of room for an adult to use as a home office.

The Little House is made of wood and is designed to be durable and safe. It is constructed with a strong foundation and is painted with non-toxic and weather-resistant paint. The roof is made from thatch, which is a natural material that is both attractive and long-lasting. The interior of the playhouse is designed to be comfortable for children, with plenty of windows to let in natural light.

The Little House is a great way to encourage imaginative play in children. It allows them to create their own little world and pretend that they are living in a real home. It also encourages them to be creative and explore their own ideas.

5. Pirate Bay…

Pirate Bay… If you don’t need such a big playhouse, this pirate boat is perfect. From the pirate flag to the barrels and stairs, it’s got every detail you could imagine, and the room inside is ideal for playing or being creative. This particular playhouse is made-to-order, letting you change the colors, dimensions and details if you like, but there are plenty of cheaper pre-built models too. Nobody wants a second mortgage for a pirate ship!

6. Treehouse…

Treehouse… If you always dreamed of having a tree house, and you’ve got a strong enough tree, this playhouse will be right up your street. It’s got all the traditional treehouse details, but you can make it quite luxurious inside too. There’s definitely no chance of paper cuts or splinters! Flowers and a warm rug will make this treehouse totally welcoming and cozy.

7. Gypsy Cart…

Gypsy Cart… This unique-looking playhouse is actually an old gypsy cart, cleaned up and given a modern paint job. They’ve removed the door in favor of a homely pink curtain, and the cushions and flowers gives it a real playhouse feel. Gypsy carts are relatively big inside, and you can move them around with relative ease, which is ideal if you aren’t sure where in the garden you want it. Shutter windows and cart paint are great finishing touches to these amazing playhouses, too.

I’m totally envious of today’s kids – who knew we’d get such amazing playhouses?! Whether you dream of being a pirate, a princess, an artist, or travelling the world, there is a playhouse that will let your imagination run wild, and inspire your next game. Did you have a playhouse as a child?

Where can one obtain a gypsy cart?

I just love it !!

It's called a caravan. Calling something a "gypsy cart" is a bit offensive.

Love 2,4,6&7!!! Very cool!
