1. Mini Pizza
Show me a kid who doesn’t like pizza? Okay, I take that back. I’m sure there are a few kids that don’t care much for pizza. But these mini pizza make a great after school snack. Use English muffins, flour tortillas, or bagels for the crust. Layer on the desired toppings and heat up at 400* in the oven or toaster oven for about 5 minutes.
2. Home Made Popcorn
Gone are the days of needing to stand over the stove with a large pot moving and shaking to make home made popcorn. Place a ¼ of popcorn kernels into a small brown paper bag and fold the top down a couple of times. Microwave for 2 to 3 minutes and you have a warm and simple after school snacks ready for the kids.

3. Frozen Grapes
Frozen grapes are awesome make ahead after school snacks. Wash your grapes and place about 5 or 6 individual grapes onto lollipop sticks. Place the sticks of grapes into a freezer safe bag and into the freezer overnight. Snack time is ready as soon as the kids get home.

Smoothies make great after school snacks. They are packed with healthy fruits and yogurt, which means plenty of vitamins and proteins to refuel your kids after a long day of school. Have you tried edamame? Common as an appetizer in Japanese restaurants these little green soy beans make good after school snacks. You can buy them in the pods or already shelled. Warm them up and serve.
