Are you surprised to see this make the list? Gaining weight is important to do when you are pregnant, but you want to make sure that you don’t gain more or less than the doctor recommends. While the general recommendation is to gain 25-35 pounds during pregnancy, your doctor can tell you which end of that scale you should work toward. Gaining more or less than you should puts you at risk for complications. It is also important to make sure you are gaining that weight from healthy food choices.
