Best list ever! I would have never thought of a few of these until my 2nd baby came along. Oh, friends should NEVER underestimate the power of giving a new Mama (especially of 2) just one hour! Or entertaining the sibling(s) too! I hope get get all of these on your list when your new addition comes along =)

When I had my second child my mom helped pay for a sitter. She would help with the kids and do some cooking and laundry. It was incredible to have the help when I was delirious from lack of sleep. This is a wonderful list. So many useful ideas.

Used frequently by our infant, who really enjoys the hanging toys. The two positions for hanging toys is a plus as many other gyms we looked at only had one. The mirror is movable and works really well at the top for babies using the gym on their backs. Hanging from the sides works nicely when using the pillow for tummy time. The bottom matt has been washed according to directions many times and still looks new. Packs up easily and compactly for travel. Overall, really great activity gym.

This is the best baby monitor. It was recommended to us by a friend of ours. She had a different one before and had to replace it because it had terrible range. She could be anywhere in the house, but as soon as she stepped outside it wouldn't work. This one is awesome. I have a huge yard (2 acres) and I can go just about anywhere in the yard and get a signal. Now it does break up at the outer reaches of the yard, but it still comes in well enough I would know if I was needed inside. It's nice to be able to do some weeding in the garden while my son naps.
